Marriage Resources:
Genderpac (Gender Public Advocasy
Coalition or GPac). One of the leading organizations on
transgender rights. The Gender Law Guide, available as a word
document or a PDF,
includes information on federal and state law for general transgender
rights and discrimination, but also in relation to family (and marriage)
The National Center for
Transgender Equality (NCTE). A fairly new organization
fighting for transgender rights. NCTE has a trans
marriage center with some of the links included here as well
as a trans health center
with information on mental and physical health, including transitioning.
The National Gay and
Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF). One of the leading queer national
organizations. Includes an informative PDF on transgender marriage,
Transgender
Persons and Marriage: The Importance of Legal Planning,

Transgender Marriage. An article by Kristine
W. Holt, Esq. who is an attorney with offices in New Jersey
and Pennsylvania. Holt has done extensive work on marriage for transgendered persons based on birth sex, transgender
discriminatory laws and sexual orientation and is therefore a good
resource for anyone dealing with trans discrimination.

O. Beeman that looks at the language of gender and transgender (intersexuality)
